The design of the RADE/GARAGE (RG) Panigale V4 racing tank was inspired by the WSBK Ducati Superbike and developed in collaboration with Czech WSBK rider Oliver Konig. The main goal was to design and manufacture a high-performance tank for trackday riders and racers.

Tank can be removed more quickly
In order to be permanently UV-resistant, painting is recommended. We can offer this as an option, including a brushed aluminum look like the V4R or SP2.
Improved ergonomics
By eliminating the seat frame under the seat, we had the freedom to design for optimal comfort and a better driving experience for the driver. The slim design of the RG racing tank in the front seat area allows the driver to move his body more easily into the corner, regardless of speed. The side profile of the tank improves support for the "hanging knee", and the wider, flat seat - similar to WSBK and MotoGP motorcycles - offers improved support. All of this ensures that you as the driver develop a better feel for the motorcycle and the track, which leads to improved performance.
Material
All Dakar Rally victories over the last two decades have been based on tanks made from the latest plastics. These tanks are robust enough to withstand extreme environments and hard crashes. They also allow manufacturers to replace frame components. The RG Panigale V4 race tank is made from PA11 (linear thermoplastic) using a rotational molding process, using the same technology and material as the factory teams of rally motorcycles. The transparent material allows the rider to see at any time how much fuel is in the tank in order to optimally adjust the weight of the motorcycle for each use. Heat resistant up to approx. +150°C (melting temp. +184°C)
Serious performance, serious value
The RG race tank offers Panigale riders and racers a new level of value on the track. Riders can now safely store their expensive original Ducati OEM Panigale V4 tank (3000 EUR) and instead use RadeGarage's high-performance racing tank, which is specifically designed for the demanding environment of the racetrack.
Compatibility & practical features
The tank fits directly onto the 2022-24 Panigale V4, V4S and V4R models and uses the original fuel pump. The kit is fully bolted on, so no modifications to the bike are required.
With minor adjustments to the panels around the tank, it can also be fitted to 2020-2022 Panigale models.
Exhaust compatibility: OEM, all deep exhaust systems, or Akrapovic "Under Seat" system and Spark Under Seat system.
The tank can be removed for maintenance in less than 5 minutes.

Filler neck is compatible with the OEM tank cap or any retrofit tank cap
Optionally, TGP titanium screws for fastening are available for an additional charge.

Not approved for road traffic, there is no ABE for public transport.
