The KTR-5 front fork is an evolution of the KTR-4 fork, which incorporated the highly successful DDS system.
The KTR-5 front forks feature our new through-rod damping system.
The TRDS system uses a 25mm cartridge and represents the next level in damping performance. The damping circuits are designed to work independently to improve dynamics and response time. With its reduced hysteresis, it improves chassis control, giving the rider increased feel and confidence.
The effects of temperature changes are eliminated from the system as there is no displacement of the piston rod that could affect the load on the piston rod as gas pressure through the oil increases as temperature rises. This all contributes to better consistency of damping control and zero "fade".
The KTR-5 front forks are manufactured using the highest grade materials and strict design tolerances. They are designed for optimal performance, making them a serious option for any level of racing.
TO FIT THESE FORKS YOU WILL NEED AFTERMARKET BRACKETS, HANDLEBARS, AXLE INSERTS, ETC.
